Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or BCBA-D–Per Diem

7TH & Madison Extensions of Empowerment is looking for a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst to join our team and provide high-quality behavioral services to our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing behavior plans, conducting assessments, and providing training and support to families. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and families, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
7TH & Madison Extensions of Empowerment (7TH & Madison) is seeking per diem Board Certified Behavior Analyst to work with individuals with developmental disabilities and autism, oversee Registered Behavior Technicians, review, and complete Enhancing Needs Forms annually, run groups and trainings, and create and oversee Behavior Support Plans. The candidate will focus on developing and maintaining behavior plans and skill acquisition plans, staff training, and conducting Functional Behavior Assessments using the principles of applied behavior analysis and positive behavior supports as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize data-driven decision making to develop and implement behavior plans.
- Conduct assessments to identify target behaviors and design interventions to address them.
- Provide direct instruction, training, and support to clients, families, and caregivers.
- Monitor progress of clients and adjust plans as needed.
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure effective treatment plans.
- Maintain detailed records of client progress and behavior plans.
- Educate clients, families, and caregivers on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
- Stay up-to-date on the latest research in the field of ABA.
- Develop and implement appropriate behavior plans for members.
- Serve as liaison with health care providers regarding treatment of members.
- Provide staff training on effective behavioral supports.
- Develop an effective working relationship with 7TH & Madison staff.
- Thoroughly document all interactions with members.
- Participate as a member of the Inter-disciplinary team for members on caseload.
- Maintain appropriate staff/member interactions.
- Maintain program operations and facilitate program development.
- Cooperate with Agency, legal authorities and Department of Human Services or any part or successor thereof in any inspection or investigation.
- Collaborate with Behaviorists on performance evaluations.
- Perform bio-psychosocial assessments.
- Attend meetings as needed.
Qualifications:
- Ability to maintain appropriate relationships with people with disabilities and at-risk adolescents utilizing normalization principles.
- BCBA Certification.
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of 7TH & Madison staff, members’ families, and within the community.
- Ability to express oneself, both in writing and verbally, in a comprehensive manner, using the English language
- Working knowledge of computer software programs including Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to be resourceful and work independently.
- Ability to deliver effective presentations and training programs.
- Demonstrate responsible leadership, mentoring and role-modeling.
- Access to an automobile vehicle, valid driver’s license and safe driving record required.
